With Johnny Kühn´s background in defined, distinct and intelligent Rock-concepts and Helge Nordstrøm´s theatrically and lyrically intense approach, it´s no wonder that the music has found a unique language of it´s own.

On the cd “The Master´s Dream”, GaaHinter has found inspiration in classical mythology, Darwin, the playground of the imagination, and the story of a man on a mission. It is an Odyssey, a paraphrase of Schubert´s ”Winterreise”.
”Seperated from his love, struggling to find a way back, through darkness and despair, caught in the bright hallucinogenic light of insanity, and temptation of the flesh, he rides the storm on the edge of the town, collapsing finally in the snow”.

The elements of each song, have been recorded through improvised sequences, composed on site, captured the moment before being transscribed to the computer, a method in which the musicians individual ideas can flourish without restraint. Within the definitive form, the sound-design is kept lyrical, poetic and ambiguous .
The locations used on the recording, include beaches, damp basements, windblown attics and disused coalmines.

GaaHinter facilitates a stylistic cross-over, that presents serious as well as humoristic insights into the evolution of music. and at the same time goes behind our preconceptions, like an untamed but paradoxicly disciplined mutant.
